Why should I donate?
I think everyone knows it takes money to run a
website. For us, we're set up with a very good provider
for a very good price. It costs us approximately $70 per
year to keep Coozy For Hire afloat and to bring you new
comics every week.
So far, I and Ryan run this website as a hobby. If
you enjoy what we bring to you, helping us break even
is the best compliment you could possibly give us.
Even $1 a year would be great, but if you'd like to give
more, you're welcome to do so.
Where is my money going?
All money recieved goes directly toward site hosting
fees which break down into bandwidth and the yearly domain
registration for CoozyForHire.com. Currently the site
is piggybacking off of Ryan's personal website
Torrential
Equilibrium, so donations also help keep his blog running.
Money remaining after hosting will go into content on
the site. Wether it's to pay for a tool to help Ryan draw
the comic like our Wacom Graphire, or in the future to get
the website professionally redesigned for easier navigation.
At the moment, production costs are luckily very low. However,
as the site grows, previously unforseen costs may arise.
Beyond site and content production costs, we hope to
launch a modest advertisment campaign to bring what we have
to a larger audience. I don't believe in paying more for
advertising than we do on website hosting, so our budget for advertising the site will be $60 per year. Anything left over
after all is said and done will be carried over to next year's
expenses.
If you would like to direct your donation to specific
expenses, or would just like to throw us money to play with,
please specify that when you donate.
